Where do we go now?
We are dense and diverse;
The moon sounds empty though.
We've any virus to deal with
The world has to meet cure;
The pandemic is bleeding
Emotions more than bodies;
The world has grown frail.

Next hand we witness racism;
Some foster it, some combat.
We're just killing time...
Forgetting Thou judgement:
Fire thorns or eternal drink,
We kick love and expect luck.

I wrote the list upon my hand, because I was wont to forget. Memory was always a weakness, since birth I assume. I had since then learnt to cope. Would it rain? I wasn't sure, but I would be ready if it did.

"Ready to go?" I heard a voice. I nodded, we were probably already late.

It was dark outside, raining. The blacktop shimmered with the small bit of dwindling light that escaped through the clouds. The day was early but the day already felt long, characteristic of the gloomy weather. I opened the door, however, to sunlight beaming in my front door.

"Great! Looks like it cleared up outside!" but all I could hear was the ocean. The noise of waves tossing themselves on the shore was overwhelming, their loudness filling the air.

"Are you alright?" I snapped back into reality. I assured myself I was fine, just lost in thought as usual. I tried to make myself more comfortable by focusing on the inviting weather, although I was visibly nervous. I felt like something bad was going to happen.

My foot stepped to the concrete, bending the leather of my shoes and causing them to crease. We walk beside one another in a peaceful silence toward the bus stop, eyes trained on the puddles of the sidewalk. My foot lifted for another step and as it comes back down to reach the water, I felt a wind rush past. I looked up, and I found myself all alone.

Once again, I felt the rain upon my face.

Do thickets see steeples,
or are people the thickets?
If writers are thick headed,
Writing of Peter Pans' pigs,
Who visits?

Bull, riches, seer, man,
Write a list upon my hand,
So that my plot, it thickens.
What is time spent living:
Divine or perspective driven?

Plate spinner, of your illusion,
Place your spins upon their back.
Bull, chickens, and feelings lack,
Who takes from hands of other hen?
Who take the hands of other hen,
Who take the land of wary men,
Who lost to men,
More suspicious then.
What is it all about:
Defense, or Pence,
To what extent do I extend,
What is strength?

Bones that manage to crack,
A love forever lacking,
What one cannot foresee comes again.
Losing fights that cannot be won,
outgunned, outlasted, nor outrun.
A foot forced to shrubs,
But what of the lungs?

Lonesome, handsome fighter,
What of your gloves?
What of your sums?
Poster person, spokesman,
What of you becomes?

The sun begins to set in the horizon
I muster up the courage to walk like royalty
With a few hours of rest, I think I am ready.
Heart beats fast, hands are sweaty
My brain feels like a time bomb.
How do you get ready when you're not ready at all?
Standing like a scarecrow
I'm the one getting scared
Why did you have to choose me?
I just want to curl up or even flee.
No one else seems to relate
I must survive this time.
As I leave, the moon begins its work.
That's it for today.
Tomorrow calls for another chance.

Show me that night underneath the sky
when you pulled me close
but i am nothing but smoke in your hands. You are
my ghost—or am I yours?—
and we float away up to the sun.
There’s a shadow around the corner
and it haunts me.
I flee into your arms—
into you—
and the fire between us
chases it away. I don’t want to leave
but you can’t stay
and I ask you, please.
I’ll let you go forever
if you just stay tonight, here with me
and whisper in my ear
that you’ll never leave

I write of hands,
God replies back,
In comic sans.

it's my turn to put away the dishes
it's the same knife i use to cut strawberries in the mornings
the sucrose covers my hands.
do you think blood is the same kind of sticky?
will it come off with soap and water and elbow grease?
will it even matter?

On and on,
Although my hands, they shake,
Play with plants, on steaks,
How am I to find my place?
How am I to file down pane,
File down pain, or file alone again?

My violin is made from wood and string,
My heart is filled from blood for simple things,
Like dimples and rings,
Like a simpleton's dreams.

A trial by nonsense, to no ends,
Sweet Rolland, give me your hand,
Give me your head,
On my shoulders rests another mans.

Power, in the form of a word,
Flowers in the form of the world,
Cowards, in the form of the word,
Towers of form, of the world,
Yet so far from dirt,
So says the eyes:
If one wrote a novel,
Bible or implied shorthand,
It would be in favour,
Such is the land.

Images of text, a thousand words,
Thousands absurd then bridges bend.
Curt be my pen atwixt their cloud,
Fountain of their dreams allowed,
Pounding coins, their dreams aloud
Outbursts blurred of Hitchen's hand.
Dreaming mountains with giant crowds,
Client crows, their giant demands.

Imagine a test, a thousand words,
Testing absurdly on a given text,
What word comes second, or last.

A mass, a mast, a caste aghast,
Rest snugly where water amassed.

Seeking resurrection,
I long to burn my hands,
Incense smoke, friends.
I tire of drawing nonagon, ocatgons, heptagons, hexagons.
I have drawn triangles, circles, squares and beyond,
I have longed for more irregular shapes.
Older days, forgotten, songs,
Lyrics erased, dreams decayed,
Vocals crack on air,
The priest is watching alone.
I stare the beast in his eyes,
and keep yelling despite.

Sidewalks broken on my boulevard,
Auburn hair where I used to walk,
Talk, and think of her dialogue.
I'd thought greenery would fall,
Replaced with concrete barriers,
Perhaps I'd talked too freely,
Told one too many tale too tall
To still be taken seriously.
Discreet forever, words picky,
Discrete for ever, world sticky,
Disformity for even worms licking.
Take me away from this place,
For even screaming and kicking,
Seeing worse, feeling indignant.
Not to curse the growing infant,
But the plants must go.
No handlebars rusted,
To bikes comprised of broken dreams,
No van full of children hopeful,
Just a van to the hospital, please,
My heart is about to explode to pieces.

I write without notes,
No goblins, or hope,
Aftermath nonsense. So?

I write long-form cribs,
Despite shotguns, dibs,
Despite skunks glibs:
Seven, Eight.
Eight, Nine.
Just in time, coughing:
"Forgive my hands,
I am pandering, but
All I wish is to climb,
My trip divine,
My lips atwine,
Would you be so suited,
Had I not arrived?"

In the middle, my tie mismatches,
Patchwork outfits, simple acids.
Dissolve an owners possessions,
Would ten not ask, where are my people,
Clothes and houses?
I would think at last, and note it,
Seven ate nine hungry and homeless,
To not play such a hand, preposterous.
By standards awful and longing,
With numbers staging off-brands.

Bartlett pears, dare i say, or shout,
Without is life austere, my world grey.
Some juicy poetry I heard today:
"With my hands so sticky,
A world become so tricky,
So quickly the armoire useless,
Of rickety fences, my house is."
I spoke it, To save face,
Bartlett pears are on their way.

Why write technical poetry?
Skylight he remarks, opens,
Beams of light Caepoeria,
Room a knight of California,
Adjoined, special upholstery,
Coins, for centuries.
My king coiled,
Toiling thy rings,
By fools finding hands,
Bringing foil to my picnics.
Thinking spoilt,
Singing doyle,
Drunk stringing his violin,
To play brittle.
How would I do, Aemula?
Is my world to soon, exposed,
Or steeped for your future?
A mule for god,
How would I too, butcher,
Myself, user and administrator?
I'm you for Claude, Europe,
Sugar, or urban woodland.
Frogs bulwark their homeless,
I'm too for piles of durance,
Furthermore for living fulcrum,
Furthermore, for here it comes.
Words technical, sure, but speaking of,
Can I not just turn and bite my thumb?

Waiting, spicy feelings,
Hands tingling, vitae.
Dial again,
A few moments away,
His reckoning,
My fate.
Fountain, fairy meeting,
Handsome thing, you love?
Felt such was nonsense,
Your heart a curd, confess.
Your heart abscess, turd,
You depart as if fuss undue,
Who could stoop so low?
To like remarks of word,
A lonely teenager,
To be touched absurdly.

Headlights flashing,
His fools, my athletes,
Picture captured,
Is this your image?
Then post a back link,
Or get your ass kicked.
