Macho dancer, nacho boy,
Follower, borrowed language,
Patterned, upon another land.
They call you boy, not a man.

Hollow laughter from the distance,
Borrowed valor, from deep sadness.
Thirty seven candles later you visit,
Sorrow, passion, anger, business,
All over a taco salad?
I thought you had charisma?

They say your life, not your plan...
Also talent, not what you had.

Abscence, between smashing.
Not pathetic and sad,
Crippled by lattice fences,
Under another mask.

Actually? They call me often, I'm in demand.

Another sunset and other bands,
People are as carbon is to plants,
Commerce is to banks,
Son is to a dad.

Look to the sky:
So cool, white.
Like the moon at night,
You, in suit and tie,
People, when they die.

Being alive will prove me right...

Look to the interstice:
So cool, divine,
Like the moon in the sky.
You, think of yourself highly,
I fear I'll be alone at night.

Where does that leave you and I?
Basically we are two vampires...

Look, I may not know what's right:
You say you've died,
Like the sun at night,
or women when they cry.

For advice, I apologize,
This time you'll be standing by,
The light, I feel, will take your life.

Your friend talked,
You saw my disgust.
How could you? It wasn't.

I still called you drunk,
Two thirds of what I thought,
I should have called you hot,
I should have told you what I wanted.

Instead you talked until I fell apart,
I realized your better off,
That we could never be in love.

Your friend talked,
You tried to get her to stop,
Honestly I wanted more,
But I wasn't being honest.

I was trying to be myself...

Instead you talked,
I realized you are better off,
That you would see things I never would,
That if I had told you what I wanted,
That we could never be in love.

Lettuce beyond where fences meet,
Energy drink then vodka or whiskey,
Every time, Identity card, receipt.

I don't care what it's called,
I don't care what it costs,
At the end of the song, repeat.

Let us be, upon the senses, feeling,
Identity play: Sinatra, Springsteen.
Every time I vent, it set me free.

At the end of the day,
I don't care what it's called,
I dont care what it costs,
In the end, sunsets to dawn, repeat.

I don't know what came over me,
I don't know what came over me,
Male poetry, waves crash over me.

French toast, crepes: florentine,
That from which war proceeds,
Sweetness of orange peels,
I call home.

I don't know what came over me,
I long most for social peace,
Mercy from the volant beings,
Open fields into forest greens.

Great poet, greater potency:
Hate poetry explained vocally,
Bay cordial, bowl smoker,
Gay gordon, flamethrower.

Dramatically, he captures folk,
What does it mean? Who knows?
More grenadine with alchohol,
Sweetness in a leather coat,
Bitterness in a paper cup.

Have dreams,
That's how you achieve them,
Not bat ears and canned heat.

Billy Bragg says 'freedom is' ,
But whiskey is softer on ears,
Randy Blythe pushes people,
Carried off as he prescribes.

Chlorine, yonder, sapphire dyes,
In your heart you can see their eyes,
You never fully extinguish a life.

Murderer, she says, most immodest,
Mostly chlorine water in response,
Yonder, the noble's calling,
It turned her to stone on the inside.
To me, like sapphire and diamonds.

To her, being pushed from a stage,
Down past concrete, into a grave.
Into the maze, blue, into the grey.
Now you are mine forever.

If fights ensue,
It's not of me, delights, or truth,
So why stand beneath?
At least in my mind the blue is me.

What of peacocks in the spring?
What of cheese in the crumbles?
What of resolve and my shivering?
Certainly, I can feel these things.
It's not beneath me,
Like red sees croplands,
Like rubber and tarmac.

Like green sees the sea: blue.
Ironically, foolish for free verse.
Traverse the world, but ask me,
Just remove lines, write peace.

Irish flute, life renews,
Fights needs two,
Then favour winning,
Like red says to greens.

I wish inside, though, blue remains.
Enticing eyes, confusing wings,
Flying, seems a bit childish to me,
As does to peacocks in the spring.

Invention of wheel,
Longness of face,
Internal promise of cake.

I feel I cannot run away.

Knowledge of space,
Darkness of faith,
Invention of metal,
Weapons and trades.
External promise of capes.

Knowledge of place,
Doctrine of faith,
Darkness of brain.
Call it a day!
Harvest the slave's harvest,
Get paid!

Invention of cadmium.
Longness of days,
Internal rotten and lamed.

Vermilions, Amber,
Vermin, red, in anger.
Verily, yellow dances,
Keep dancing, he says,
And slaps her.

Verify me a fact, liar,
Orange becomes vermillion,
So what will yellow become,
Tallow or cum on the skin?
Life, wears thin, and dives.

I think upon green, yellow presides,
Beyond the goddess worship, lies,
Anger. I think a lot about their side.

I think they lie about their sides,
I think a little red should suffice.
Vermillion, yellow, a bit of pride,
Call me coward, feed those ideas,
A million bits, red and canvas mine.

The things he knows...
Are alike a hand that speaks in failure:
 Painful flails, an esophagus.
While his mouth speaks toward disarmament,
and victims speak of the night.

So all hail the king, his rings and his might.
All the things that he owns,
Including the people as items, options
 and things he derides.

So swing a knife, like a sword.
All hail the flailing arm for what it's worth,
Including the people he knows as thoughtforms and cites.

Cayenne pepper, nose.
 A world alight.
  A world, delight.
   A wordly delight.
    A world, a light,
Circles dance in the sky,
 darkness seen with your eyes.
Alongside carmine, red and feathers:
 prose, things they call wise

Was it like this all along? A bird wonders...
Like gawkers, ponders what they saw...

'Would you describe me, inside of a bar?'
'Must again, you make things be so hard?'
'Wasp, like I bumble about the pollen,
Following a humble belief seems wanton,
When you believe in things so violent and wrong.'

Bird, quickly describes in simple songs,
Big cities, things it saw in the puddle,
Colors of war, bees that talk.
Freedom, it sings, is also simple,
One really needs not drift apart.
The big screen, another big scene,
It was mostly a facade...
Balk, talk is talk, feeling in the dark,
But most of what a bird said, lived on,
Proper relief is upon the soul after all...

So they write less of evil on the walls,
In the sky, on maps or village carts.
Against nothing, see the days beyond...
I suppose those concepts are behind us.

Was it like this all along? A bird wonders...
Is the city like a swallow, or like to swallow,
and will he be the next one gone?

Cause for alarm, make calls upon,
Anything, but you lost the one. You love...

Like a dog watching another sun set,
More talk, another sun will rise again,
Life for this bird is but more dogs.
So like a coward, survives the storm,
Shivering as they make their calls.
Inevitably, to face the power lines alone.

Shapeshifter, sex symbol, Lord,
Like you imagine your next form,
Aging wrinkles, Alone,
Civil from war.
Great mirror,
What's a beach without a shore?
Those who change an elaborate hoax.
They imagine thinking, then approach,
Like ideas read from novels and books.

Plane ticket, images, visions, more,
Imagining yourself at home,
Opium, an anonymous quote,
You take the drugs you owe for,
In your veins, up the nose.
Fictional, your world becomes,
Because fiction is all you know.

Shapeshifter, pegs in your holes,
You imagine delightful chorus,
Even though you are alone.
Violent, calloused and lonesome.
Without war to be calloused from.
Great Mirror, Piper, Peter,
Could you play me a tune
Or at least leave me alone?
I favour the fear I know fighting.
Not the thunder and lightning,
You bring when you're home.

A rabbit runs free, in the past,
Toward nothing it finds meaning.
Fish of streams, pivot teeth,
Laughter, tongue chatter, sea.
By the brine they find peace,
And man, king of beasts.

Man forms groups,
Parts in two, like lips,
The bartender and you.
Glass tightly in a grasp,
Like a woman's clasp,
Like a rabbit in a trap,
Wiggle dance, calls,
Nobody calls back.

Like man, cash advanced,
Wiggle dance, calls,
Calls, nobody calls back.
That man can run like a rabbit,
Dance like a rabbit,
Hears like a rabbit,
Fears the language of diagrams,
Candles and passwords.
He describes freedom, devoid of it's traps,
Talking about assholes out of sadness and anger.

He tries to understand, too foolish in banter,
Expanding his mind with standards that matter,
His reaction barely examined, rather managed,
Inside he feels his wiggles, the dance begins,
What can exist, he thinks as a passing thing,
Kicks and springs his feet, never hears a ring.

He coughs, feels the black ink on his palm
If he cast speech, a last kiss on her lips,
All his faults and all her resolve.
He calls it god but his heart does not,
He has simple, economic thoughts,
of films, of myths, he knows little of.

The wind whispers to my skin,
It's like it speaks with every breath.
As if it has been calling out for my presence,
Waiting to see the face behind this mask.
So far it has shown nothing but disdain,
And I wonder if I have anything left to give.

In darkness I wander,
With nothing but my memories
Falling, falling, falling.
Where once I saw light now lies only gloom,
And I know that it has gone.
For those who wish for rest, I have none
Though I'd give up what I have, for one more.
But it's too much now, I can't move my hands,
I just want to sleep...
(My memory, it fades)
In the dark, with nothing to grasp,
The memories that I hold so dear
Fall away from me like they were never there.
And I feel as though I will fall into madness,
Like the very world is crumbling beneath my feet,
That everything is crashing down,
I fear I cannot stand the weight.
(I'm fading)
I just want to sleep...
(My memory, it fades)
***
I'm afraid I've gone and made a fool out of myself again,
I knew you wouldn't understand my reason,
And now you're not talking to me at all,
You see I didn't mean to let your memory fade,
It's like I was being pulled away by another force,
Something I didn't mean, something I can't control,
I don't even know why I'm still here...
I don't know why I'm still here.
I should leave this place, I know it's wrong,
I shouldn't be here in your mind,
I can't help the way that I am,
I don't know why I'm Super Mundane,
I can't stop feeling so low,
I'm afraid it's already too late.

I didn't mean to let you slip away,
But the thought of losing you just doesn't sit right,
To keep you awake and alive,
I need you here, I'm not alone,
Without you here with me I can't go on,
I don't know why I'm Super Mundane,
I don't know why I'm still here.
I didn't mean to let you slip away,
I just can't shake this feeling,
That something inside of me is broken,
I don't know why I'm Super Mundane,
I don't know why I'm still here.

This poem is an Articial Intelligence re-interpretation of "Super Mundane" by TheSoftSophist

A wake-up call, A veil must fall,
He always spoke in ways of god,
Unfortunately he spoke that way a lot.
He spoke simply, of knaves and farms,
Like he spoke in the name of god.
Like the oil on the water,
It leaves a glistening wake behind it;
Eyes are like the rays of dawn.
Flames stream from a mouth;
Sparks of fire shoot out the nostrils,
Dragon tall, shakes the castle walls.

So can you blame them,
When they say fuck off?
Nothing on earth is its equal,
A creature without fear,
And it comes for us,
The reign of law.

An open mouth gasps,
Hot sauce, parmesan,
All I see is stars.
No conscious thought,
Face agaze in awe,
A chicken with no wing,
Would it rise or fall?
As I concentrate,
Stare at a spot on the wall,
Eyes; waterfalls,
Call off the milk,
Call off the salt,
My tongue stings,
Craters, my teeth sting,
An open mouth gasps for these things,
A king sits routinely,
Being above singing and fearing.
